The Icons Hotel

Although the location was away from the town centre, the hotel was a pleasant surprise. There were corner food stores around and the metro station was a short walk away to get you into the city centre. The room i had was very spacious, light and bright and had a balcony. The room was very clean and the climate control worked very well. The bed was comfortable and the linen was very clean and in excellent condition. The bathroom was very well appointed and the water pressure was great. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast fulsome.

Arrived at the hotel at 22:40. They had overbooked even though they had confirmed my reservation the day before. They would not answer any questions just kept asking to wait. After 30 minutes, they announced that they will let me check in! But I need to wait more. After an hour, they gave me a room. The room was not properly (if any) cleaned - there was hair in the bathroom, in the bed underneath the sheets. The staff did nothing except repeating sorry. Wherever you choose to stay, do not ruin your time at Lisbon and avoid this place at all costs. It is way overpriced for the quality and the sound of airplanes is incredibly loud.

This compact hotel offers extremely small rooms and washrooms, but surprisingly, it's comfortable for two people. The beds are cozy, AC works well, and hot water is available. Breakfast is delicious, although drinking water isn't provided. If you need hot water for tea, you'll need to ask for it, and note that tea/coffee sachets aren't available. The hotel staff stands out for their excellence and helpfulness. However, the location is far from the city center, and there aren't many dining options nearby. Overall, it's an okay property, ideal for those prioritizing budget and convenience over luxury and central location.
