SANA Rex Hotel

SANA Rex on R.Castilho was the hotel that me and my twin brother stayed in while on a week's holiday in Lisbon.Its located in an excellent area of the city with good links to the city centre via local transport. The hotel is a little bit dated but it wasn't a distraction as we where hardly in the hotel. The room was spotlessly clean but again a little bit dated but it served its purpose.We had the breakfasts every-morning and the breakfasts were excellent and set us up for the day ahead. The staff were superb as was the service in this hotel and we would and will stay in this hotel again the next time where in this very lively city.(This is my 1st reviews of the SANA Rex Hotel). This isn't our first visit to Portugal, in fact we've been this fascinating country on many many occasions over the years but it was our first visit to Lisbon,loved the city ,the hotel we chose to stay in for a week was Sana Rex Hotel ,our stay was superb. Booked in immediately by very friendly reception staff, our twin room was lovely , not massive but cosy ,comfortable beds ,lots of storage space, bathroom spotlessly clean, we had breakfast included, breakfast was so good ,hot and cold options, freezing cold juices and tea & coffee on offer, the hotel bar was superb,complimentary wine given to us on arrival and we also enjoyed iced cold beers from Super Bock Brewery on a few occasions before starting our night out,staff here were amazing, happy,friendly and welcoming, location is really good not too far from major tourist destinations ,metro stop close by ,the hotel faces the beautiful Parque Eduardo VII ,loved that park ,all in all couldn't fault anything about our seven nights spent in this hotel, will most definitely stay in here again next time were planning a holiday to Lisbon.

Super hotel and staff.Perfect view from balcony of Lisbon.All staff friendly ,helpful and professional.Recption staff looked after our bags before we checked in.Pombal about 15 mins walk a centre for banks, restaurants,cafes.
