BV Oly Hotel

Good hotel in the Roma Ostiense neighborhood. Very convenient for anyone visiting, studying, or working at Roma Tre university, or tourists looking for an accommodation in a residential area. There are many bus options close to the hotel, like the #715 bus which goes to Teatro Marcello/Piazza Venezia. The closest metro, Line B, near the Basilica of San Paolo is 13 minutes walk from the hotel. Rooms are modern, beds comfortable and AC can be adjusted. Breakfast is buffet style, with various options, including yogurts and fruits. Helpful staff and excellent room service. Room have a refrigirator, but it can only fit a couple of small water bottles! Desk area is also extremely narrow and TV volume very loud ( did not seem to be able to lower it). Overall, it's a good hotel choice in Ostiense with plenty of nice restaurants and cafes nearby and convenient public transportation.

I recently stayed here for two nights while in a group tour. The rooms were completely updated, they were clean, modern and no issues. The employees were friendly. No issues checking in or out. Good location to train, and there is a cute Cafe down the street.

We were booked to stay at this hotel by a cruise company for a one night pre cruise stay. Arrived by taxi in 27 degree heat, no one to help with luggage, see to it yourselves. Upon checking in , advised where the restaurant was but informed that it was not open this evening but there were plenty of places to eat nearby. Well not from what we could see in an average residential area of Rome outside of the main tourist areas. Also as a couple of advanced years, one with significant mobility issues, wandering around the streets in an area we didn't know wasnt particularly appealing. Oh well, we thought let's go get a nice refreshing drink at the bar, erm no as the bar does not open until 17 00. A coffee perhaps in the room,once again that was a no as there are no facilities to make a hot drink in the room. We were advised however, enthusiasticaly that there were two bottles of water in the fridge, supplied om a complimentary basis. Your room is ready, it is on the 5th floor and there are 2 elevators over there. Nope, there is actually only one as the other is out of service at the moment! On the plus side, the room was spotlessly clean and the air conditioning was very efficient. (the walls are paper thin and we were entertained by a couple in the next room going through some sort of physical activity).
