The hotel was clean and comfortable. There is a bus (310) opposite that take you to the station and we got tickets for the hop on hop off bus. The area is a student area but not very busy with a couple of cafes. It was a quiet hotel dispute being near to a hospital. We checked in late as our flight was delayed so it was about midnight. Staff weren’t chatty and to the point. Not much was explained I.e where breakfast was etc and we just found this ourselves in the morning. There is no bar to get a drink but there is one outside on the right as you come down the steps. Nice cocktails! We ate at the roof top restaurant - the food was good but not a lot of choice. The air con wasn’t great and it was so hot when we stayed so could have done with a better AC. Didn’t really see any staff and when we checked out it was agin to the point and not particularly friendly. I would recommend as a base for visiting Rome.
Pleasant stay

We could not fault our stay We knew we were not in the city centre but the metro was nearby. Our room was ready on arrival which was appreciated as we were early. Check in was efficient and friendly. Room was clean. The bed was comfortable and we did not hear any noise at night. We only used the restaurant for breakfast which was a good offering. I’d have no concerns in booking here again. For a base to explore Rome it ticked the boxes
Great hotel..good location.

Excellent hotel located in a student area. Brilliant transport links to Rome Termini and the rest of Rome. Good breakfast with good selection of food. We were on the first floor and there was some noise...mainly sirens as there is a hospital nearby but it didnt stop me from a good nighs sleep. There was also a small balcony to sit out on. There was tea and coffee making facilities...a mini fridge with complimentary water. Hairdryer, safe, tv. Cleaned every day. A lovely bakery directly over the road...a supermarket a little bit further down (opposite side of the street) and further down if you keep walking is a great burger place Sunseri. The nearest metro is Policlinico on the blue line.....about 10min walk but once we discovered the 310 bus which goes to the termini we used that all the time..runs very frequently. You can catch it over the road from the hotel. We bought a 72 hr travel pass for 22 euros and used it on buses..tram and underground. Well worth it.
Convenient Location but Limited Dining Variety
Travelled on 10 May 2026
We recently stayed at Best Western Globus Hotel during our trip to Rome. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with several positives, though there are areas where the experience could be improved. Our arrival was around 2200h. The reception staff were not particularly warm, but they were not hostile either—just very direct and straight to the point. One thing that could definitely be improved is guest orientation. We booked half board, but this was never properly explained to us upon arrival, so we had to figure things out ourselves. We were also only given one room key, which was inconvenient for a family of three as it limited flexibility when travelling separately. Two keys would have made things much easier. The room itself was a decent size, clean, and equipped with air conditioning, which made the stay comfortable, especially after long days exploring Rome. The TV was a good size, and the fridge was restocked with water daily, which we appreciated. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day. The bedside tables were quite small and lightweight, making them noisy when moving items around. I also requested two extra pillows, but possibly due to a language barrier, this never materialised. Still, the bed itself was comfortable. The bathroom and shower were clean and functional, complete with a bidet, which is common in mainland Europe. The location was very good—about a 6–10 minute walk to ’s Policlinico station. There are many restaurants, grocery shops, and food stores nearby, with reasonable prices, likely because the area is close to a university. The hotel is also near several hospitals, so ambulance sirens are frequent and may be an issue if you are sensitive to noise. The food was acceptable, though the menu was limited. Breakfast was buffet style with sausages, bacon, eggs, salads, breads, pancakes, yogurts, and a coffee machine. Dinner was à la carte with only a small selection available, so guests staying longer than five days will probably try the entire menu. Drinks were not included and had to be paid separately. The restaurant staff were pleasant, though not always comfortable speaking English. It would have been nice to have more variety, including American, British, or Chinese options alongside the Italian dishes. Check-out was easy, quick, and straightforward. Overall, the hotel provided a comfortable base for exploring Rome, especially because of its convenient location.
Great stay

We stayed here for 4 nights, the room was cleaned and serviced every day. We had a great shower and there was a hairdryer in room. The breakfast was lovely with a really nice selection of foods every morning. The metro is a 10 minute walkaway and its only 2 stops To rome termini and 4 stops to collusium. The staff we came in contact with were friendly snd helpful. Would recommend buying the 72 hour metro ticket or longer depending on how long you are there. We visited plenty of tourist attractions and they were all worth the visit.
