Your flight has been cancelled or delayed – here’s what to do next
We’re sorry your flight has been cancelled or delayed. We know how frustrating it is when travel plans change, but we’ve gathered as much information as we can below to help you know what to do next.
We’re sorry your flight has been cancelled.
We know this isn’t what you want to hear and apologise for the disruption to your trip. Please know our team are here to help you with any support and assistance you need.
What happens next?
Your airline should be in touch soon to try and rearrange your flight. If you haven’t heard anything, you can head to their website or use their app to rearrange your flight yourself. Or, if you’re in the airport, you can speak to one of their team.
Once you have the details of your new flight, please let us know using this form. When we get this information, if you had transfers included in your holiday, we’ll rearrange them and update your hotel with your new estimated arrival time.
If we haven’t got your new flight details within a couple of hours, we’ll give you a call to support and talk about your options.
Please choose a flight as close as possible to your original flight time. We can’t extend your trip if the flight you accept departs a lot later than your original flight. If you’re not sure about the flight you’ve been offered, or need any other assistance, please contact us.
Your rights
Check your airline’s website for information on their cancellation policies. Usually, you should be able to claim back some extra costs you might have to pay, like food and drink.
You may be entitled to EU regulation (EC) 261/2004 flight delay compensation. You’ll need to claim directly with the airline you’re flying with. If you’d like to know more about your rights, you’ll find the full details on the Civil Aviation Authority’s website.
