Villa Gabrisa

Dear Villa Gabrisa Owners: My wife and I just ended our 5 night stay at your beautiful hotel. We were very sad to leave this morning because we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Staying at your hotel was like living a dream of what the finest of accommodations, service and experience would be on the Amalfi Coast. The hospitality of your entire staff is above all hotels that we have ever stayed and we have stayed at many, many of them over the years. I would like to point out your reception and front desk people. They are so friendly and helpful that we felt like they were part of our family. Giada is such a sparkling personality and she was so helpful in our navigation of Positano. She is an amazing employee and individual. Vita was also a delight to talk to and she made us feel so comfortable there. Luigi, bartender, was so attentive and personable that we had fun learning about the travels in his life. Nello seemed like he was there working morning, noon and night. He is such a nice guy, a hard worker and someone who is always smiling and friendly. Bresco and Mateo were also very friendly, attentive and made sure that our stay was special. Your entire staff is special and an asset to your establishment. The food in your restaurant is awesome and extremely delicious. Your chef does an amazing job on all his dishes. Lastly, we want to tell you just how much we enjoyed our room (#304). Your housekeeping persons do a superb job and we always felt that they took care of all of our needs. Thank you for a wonderful 5 days at your hotel. We hope that we will be able to return again in the near future.

Hotel Villa Gabrisa earned 5 stars from my wife and I. Beautiful views from our balcony, which was almost as big as our room. See photos of our balcony and some of the Villa Gabrisa's restaurant tables below our balcony, across the street from the hotel. The hotel also has a dining room on the ground floor of the hotel. Spotlessly clean. The villa has a good location away from the busy beach area yet not too far up the mountain. There is a convenient bus stop next door. Excellent food (try the meatloaf.) Pleasant and helpful staff. Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World” playing in the elevator perfectly characterizes this place. Stayed a week. Was tempted to stay much longer.

We had a great time in Positano! The Hotel Villa Gabrisa was a wonderful, small hotel in the perfect location. Part way up the hill, away from the crowds. It was very quiet. We had a wonderful view of the Tyrrhenian Sea. We had a great breakfast every morning. Special thanks to Francisco. By the second morning, he knew our likes and dislikes. He brought items without our even asking! Unfortunately the restaurant was not open for dinner while we were there. We will just need to come back! Everyone at the hotel was so nice and helpful. We rented a car for a day and they helped us with that. We had lots of questions - they were always able to help and were very gracious. We especially want to mention Giada, Barbara and Vita who were the absolute best!
