Travelodge Madrid Metropolitano

I had an amazing stay at Travelodge Madrid Metropolitan. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome. A special thank you to Oana on reception, who gave us such a warm welcome and made check-in a great experience. The receptionist working in the afternoon was also incredibly helpful – nothing was ever too much trouble, even when she was busy helping other members of staff. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name, but she truly deserves recognition. The girl working in the bar/kitchen was also lovely. She had fantastic customer service, was always kind, and made us feel really looked after throughout our stay. The room was spotless – honestly 10/10 for cleanliness. The food was also surprisingly good and far exceeded my expectations. Compared to Travelodges in the UK, there really is no comparison. The quality of the food, the service, and the overall experience were on a completely different level. Overall, everything from the food menu to the comfort of the room and the exceptional customer service made this a fantastic stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Madrid!

Amazing place, silent, comfortable and 24/7 pizza and pasta room service, we went with our cat as a stop pit before heading to our new home, they receive pets with 20 euro fee, Sergio was amazing helped us with everything we needed we had an amazing stay!

In Madrid for two nights with my son to visit do Stadium tours of both Atletica and Real Madrid. Hotels in centre were too pricey. The recent reviews seemed really encouraging and price including breakfast was great. I was reassured that hotel was only a 5 minute walk from metro station that takes you directly to centre. I was not disappointed. The Travelodge product in UK can be a risk as some good and some awful. However the Metropolitan in Madrid was excellent. Spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable. The family room I booked very spacious with lovely bathroom. Perfect for a base to explore from. Breakfast was buffet, and had excellent choice. Location is good also. You may not be in main centre, but transport into centre of Madrid is 15mins metro ride away. The area the hotel is in is nice, with plenty of shops, bars and places to eat. We walked to the Atletica stadium from hotel which took 30 mins. Uber from Airport to hotel and vice versa was around 20 euro... I'd definitely recommend the Metropolitan Travelodge for anyone travelling on a budget. Top marks from me.
