Awesome hotel! Super friendly and always ready to help staff. Breakfast has a lot of variety and the rooms are always clean. Good location with direct in front of the door public transport that will take you directly to the city centre. Pet friendly too! Wouldn’t change anything!
We had a wonderful stay at the Star Inn Hotel Porto during our recent visit to Porto. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The gentleman on reception (Ruben) couldn’t have been more helpful—friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with anything we needed. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing stay. We had a great night’s sleep each evening, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a lovely experience and wouldn’t hesitate to return. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Porto.
As the name indicates, it is more an Inn, rather than a hotel. The room size is decent, bordering small. It seems to have renovated in recent years, as the furniture looks quite new, however furnishing is just basic. The overall hotel facilities are also minimal. The best thing about this hotel is it has a huge parking lot, free of charge. After all, it is located outside of major attractions, but not too far from the city centre. Also, there is bus stop right outside the main entrance, where Bus #304 can take you to downtown Aliados Metro Station area in 30 minutes. However, my stay was tainted by an unfortunate experience of having bed bugs in my room. The staff at duty was not really responsive or offering any useful help, except giving us another room on the same floor!!!
