Smy Mediterranean White Santorini

We had been to this hotel in 2018 & 2019 and had a great experience then. So we came back and we would go nowhere else. Not only is it in a fine location to stay outside of the hustle and hustle of people traffic it is also a fantastic hotel with plenty of luxury. Can't thank Dina, Maria, Elena & Marina enough for there warm welcome and help throughout the visit. Always nice to see happy faces on reception who enjoy a laugh. An absolute credit to the hotel. When we come back to Santorini we will be coming here.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I was feeling a little underwhelmed as it didn't seem as nice as the photos and was a little tired looking. My room was also very disappointing and old. However, the staff were all incredible and made me feel very welcome. I didnt enjoy the food there unfortunately and options at breakfast were extremely limited. The hotel is also not close to anything and the bus service is unreliable. However, I rented an ATV which was reasonably priced for 24 hours hire and cheaper than getting multiple taxis. Walking anywhere is also difficult because there are main roads and no footpaths. The hotel was also very quiet in the evenings with no vibe, so as a solo person, it was a little disappointing. The staff really elevated the experience and it was very relaxing in the daytime by the pool. The cocktails were very good. Although, I have mostly written negatives, I did enjoy myself overall and despite the room I had being outdated, it was very clean. I would recommend to those looking to relax and dine out at local restaurants. I would highly suggest booking a vehicle to explore the island. Without a vehicle you may feel very restricted. It takes about 20-25mins to get to Oia.
