Sercotel Las Casas de los Mercaderes

I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent four-night stay at your hotel. While the property's central location in Seville provides excellent access to dining hubs, shopping streets, and convenience stores, several significant hygiene issues made my experience unpleasant. I would like to highlight the following details regarding my stay: - Accommodations: The double-bed room was impressively spacious and featured a well-designed waiting area between the bedroom and the main entrance. While the room appeared clean and the bed was comfortable, these positives were overshadowed by persistent pest issues. - Hygiene and Maintenance: On three separate occasions, I observed cockroaches crawling near the main door. Additionally, drain flies were frequently emerging from the sink and drainage holes in the bathroom. Most concerningly, I experienced insect bites while in bed, which is unacceptable for a mid-range luxury establishment. - Service: While the front desk staff was polite and friendly, I found their level of proactive helpfulness could be improved to better meet guest needs. Given the high room rates, the presence of pests and the resulting health concerns meant the stay did not provide adequate value for the price. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless proactive steps are taken to address the sanitation issues to ensure a better experience for future guests.

This is a very good hotel in a nice location in Seville. Good service, fantastic inside area and nice room. The only things that not reached 5 star was breakfast. No egg station for omelette and fried eggs. But it was a minor problem.
