Poor locate, noisy next to airport and what appears to be a power plant.
Adequate hotel, super helpful staff, spacious clean rooms . Very poor location. It s proximity to Fira may make it a good base to travel to other parts of the island, I don’t know if there is accessible public transport to Fira, a taxi may be needed. A taxi to Oia , where we moved to, is € 40. Some reviews mention low flying planes due to airport proximity but don’t mention that the hotel is next to a power plant or similar with the constant noise of a motor. The hotel feels very enclosed. We booked this through EasyJet and the photographs they use are of the hotel but enhanced to the point of being misleading. The beach area is shabby. The cost was similar to other hotels. We decided to cut our losses and moved to a hotel we had stayed in before. We didn’t request a refund of any kind from EasyJet. We did request that they pick us up from our new hotel on our return trip, , they refused and asked me to go and take photographs of the hotel I booked through them. It appears that their in resort reps are only used to meet & greet at the airport and sell tours, trips and ‘experiences’. The EasyJet flights were OK. Because we were able to change hotels at our own cost, this was another fabulous holiday in Santorini but I wouldn’t book a hotel via EasyJet again .
