Horrendous, Terrible, Smells, a Disaster

Broken air con, wardrobe door fell off when opened and dropped on my wife's foot, it smells very badly of damp and mildew, the smoke alarm cover is missing and nobody there to help. Another family was in the lobby trying to get help but I couldn't help as they only spoke mandarin. This place is the worst place I've ever had the misfortune to enter. The photo's have been obviously altered to make it seems much large. I have photo's of everything I've said as proof. Its dingy and horrible. I tied after 3 attempts to speak to someone on a mobile phone who could not or would not help, i then booked another hotel and left immediately. I am currently trying to get a refund but I may even consider taking this place to the European small claims court.

Avoid this place! Only saw a member of staff once across 3 days!

Where do we start? We’re not snobby travellers and we’ve never left a bad review however this hotel may have to be the exception. To begin with we received no communication from the hotel at all. We arrived at the hotel just after 7pm and found the doors locked. We tried ringing the doorbell but there was no answer as well as no one in reception. We tried ringing 2 different phone numbers on the front door, all of which I was met with no answer. It was only 30 minutes later we got in when another guest kindly let us in and gave us the code to the front door which we did not receive ourselves. Check in did not exist and was simply just the keys to our room left on the desk for anyone to take. When we got to our room it was a bit on the smaller side but passable. There were many, many ants all over the bathroom floor and some in our bedroom. The toilet had no seat and the shower curtain was attached by cable ties. The shower head was covered in mould and limescale and I felt quite dirty after using it. The room was very hot but there was aircon which didn’t seem to work. There was a fan in the room but we couldn’t use this, the tv and the mini fridge at the same time. There was only one available plug socket at head level in the middle of our bed which meant we couldn’t charge things over night. There was also no smoke detector in our rooms which was concerning as well as the lack of a do not disturb sign on our door, so when we were out she came and cleaned whether we liked it or not. We were too scared to have a lay in due to fear from an unwanted cleaner! Breakfast is advertised as 7:30am to 10am with a wide range of cooked food and other items . When we went down at 9am the doors were locked with no signs at all. A lady came down looking startled to find people in her hotel and said we did not have breakfast paid for. When we showed her the email she seemed frustrated that she had to serve us the breakfast we paid for. The “breakfast” consisted of stale cereal with out of date milk, meats and cheese that looked like it had been there for months and some bread. The only edible item was a pot of yogurt. The chef/owner/cleaner sat in the room with us while we ate in silence apart from the occasional bit of music from her phone. The next two mornings when we came down the door was still locked so we didn’t bother with the breakfast as it was so bad. The first breakfast was the only time we saw a member of staff during the whole stay. Checkout there was no one in reception yet again so we had to leave the keys on the desk and leave. The location may be perfect but it is not worth it at all!!

Do NOT stay here!

DO NOT book this hotel. Our family had 3 separate rooms and each one was terrible. Obvious water damage in the bathroom. Bathroom door didn’t shut, air conditioning barely worked, fridge did not work, shower worked when turned to scalding hot - if you tried to turn in cooler it just stopped. Toilet seat was broken. No one at the front desk - just keys in an envelope. Worst hotel I have ever been to.
