Avoid

Avoid at all costs, went here with a group of 6, 3 rooms between us. One room was on the bottom floor inside the reception as you can imagine every noise in the reception could be heard from the room. The other two rooms were on the top floor which meant risking our lives in the abomination of an elevator or taking the stairs up 6 floors. Every room was tiny and there was barely enough space for one person to move around comfortably never mind two. The bathroom had a leaking shower meaning the floor was constantly wet and the shower needed to run for at least 5 minutes to remove the stale smell of urine coming from the drain. The staff at reception seemed to have little training resulting in long check in and check out waits and the door was locked at night so needed to wait on someone letting you back in,If it wasn’t for the fact we were only staying 2 nights and were planning on being out most of the time we would’ve taken our losses and booked a new hotel.

Definitely not a 4star hotel

The approach from the road is via a 13 step staircase with no lift to reception. We booked a superior room which was adequate. The bed was rock hard with the mattress on a piece of MDF. The wardrobe was tiny, Wi-Fi was hit & miss unless you stood next to the door leading to the hall. Bathroom was large but towels only changed after 3 days or you had to pay €5. We stayed for 5 nights and the bedding wasn’t changed but towels changed on days 3 & 4. Breakfasts were dire and we gave up after day 2. The reception staff however, were very good.

An awful experience

We arrived late Thurs night after having our flight rearranged from Wednesday by easy jet. Several of our group had emailed the hotel to make them aware. When we arrived they said they had cancelled our booking as we hadn't arrived the day before , luckily some people had the email they had sent. Funnily enough those that produced an email suddenly had a room despite being told that there weren't anything available. Myself and my friend were told that they had no rooms available unless we paid 85 euros that night, and could only accommodate us for 1 night . ( We had booked until Sunday). They had basically cancelled our room so they could charge more as there was some marathon event on that weekend. The receptionist wasn't very helpful and the manager wouldn't make an appearance. It took about an hour and half to check everyone in including taking 100 euros deposit and £17 city tax . If you like waiting in receptions and cancelled rooms this is the place for you ! AVOID
