Regina Mare

Dropped off by taxi outside White Lounge and greeted by a Regina Mare employee who happily lugged our bags down narrow winding stairs. At any moment I was expecting the cast from Mamma Mia to jump out! We were welcomed in reception and our room number 6 was ready. It was as I imagined. Like a wonderful cave suite. Most adequately provisioned and superbly cool. There were two air conditioners. The bed was sort of hewed into the cliff in a curved alcove. The view from or balcony was awe inspiring. Your breakfast is bought to your table outside. This was so delicious. A wonderful selection. The omelette was lovely. It was all delicious. I mean the view at your private breakfast!!! We did eat for a snack. Delicious. Drinks bought to the pool when ordered. Sensibly priced. We did three days. Possibly enough. Walked to Thira. 40 mins. There are trillions of steps though. It was truly wonderful. Yes the view but the place, lovely pool and wonderful staff made it. Happily return and plan to one day.

We absolutely loved this hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff were lovely, so helpful, particular thanks to Jenny for recommendations for activities, helping us with taxis, allowing us to store our luggage after check out as we had a late flight. Situated in Imerovigli, perfect for the lovely walk into Thira and if you feel more adventurous the walk to Oia - stunning views of the sunsets - lovely pool and there is a bar and food available on site which is handy for those sunbathing lazy days! - Great communications before we arrived, arranging pick up etc. A wonderful experience, thanks again to Jenny and the team for making it so

Very beautiful hotel, clean, spacious, service wonderful. I had such an amazing time. The view is stunning, the breakfast 😍, Jenny the manager, really lovely lady, so friendly, helpful, professional. Thank you for your excellent service 👏
