Pestana Cr7 Funchal

Was so excited to stay since I am a big CR7 fan. When we went to the room, hallway shag carpets was stained. Hair in bathroom. Weird fake video camera and peep show type shower windows facing the bedroom? We arrived early on flight and still had to check in after 3pm. Restaurant was decent for drinks and lunch. The hotel is really out-dated. As much of a superstar futbol player as he is, you would think the quality of the hotel would match his level of athleticism. Definitely over priced, regardless of the location. Hope our trip gets better from here.

Spent 1 week here. We,parents and 9 year old son. Enjoyed every minute. Stayed in room 151 with ocean view,cant get bored of sunrises and sunsets. Not the best materials in the room and bathroom,not the most comfortable beds for us ( the plus bed is quite small and even less comfortable. Really international guests from all over the world. Small but excellent roof pool, sauna and jacuzzi,roof bar (our favorite staff member working there,cheers for him this way also). Breakfast choice is wide enough,realy fresh. Every part of the hotel is perfectly clean. We were also satisfied with Inverse by CR7 restaurant, had our dinner there 3 times,loved the CR7 bowl,goat burger and fish&chips. Enjoyed Sangria as well, both red and white strongly recommend them😉During WC game plyed by Portugal the place was full so the service was not so quick but not bad considering so many people. My strongest recommendation would be to create a place where these CR7 fan young boys could play some football together, it would make their experiemce even more unforgattable and give them even more Ronaldo power!

Amazing hotel; mr Eduardo was so lovely! He is amazing with children and made our stay so special with genuine warmth. Room is nice, breakfast lovely. All the Ronaldo accents are a nice pro. Would definitely return.
