Oliva Camping

Spacious rooms, very clean and tidy, quiet hotel. All rooms have balconies. Breakfast buffet ok and enough Hotel location is not a problem at all if travel by car. Sea coast and any restaurant is not so big distance away. Pool outside was a great refreshment.

We got cheap flights to Croatia then found accommodation was massively expensive. Found this place on booking.com and was a good price. You do need a car as it is a bit in the sticks. However only 10 minutes to the nearest beach and 30 minutes to pula in the car. The accommodation is quite basic but it does the job. Aircon is only available between 10pm and 7am and you have to pay 2 euro a day to use the fridge. The breakfast was good, a selection of bread, sausage, cheese, jams and yogurt. Also cereal. Tea coffee and orange squash were available to drink. The outdoor pool was great, not busy and plenty of sun loungers available. The bar is open 3pm to 11pm and reasonably priced. Loads of free parking at the front of the hotel.

I'm still totally thrilled. We actually only wanted to stay one night. But then: the peace and quiet, the rooms with a small balcony, 2 chairs, a table and a rack to hang up wet swimwear. The friendliness of the owners, the pool, the cleanliness. The pension is more like a small hotel. Everything is bright and friendly. The rooms have parquet floors, a double bed, a wardrobe, a desk and a refrigerator. When we came back from breakfast in the morning (which was perfectly adequate for us), our room was already ready. There were fresh towels every day. If you're looking for accommodation away from tourism, in the middle of nowhere and you're arriving by car, you'll love the "Pansion Olivia". You have to be aware, however, that there's nothing in town except a small "market" (which is well-stocked, however) and you always have to drive to eat out and to the bathing bays. We spent very relaxing days there.
