Ohtels Villa Dorada

I came here with my mum and two daughters aged 4 and 7. Reading the reviews I had high expectations for the 3 stars but I have been very disappointed. Ive read the place is clean, food is good and entertainment is brilliant. My honest review is the pools are disgusting we came for 10 nights and I only saw the big pool being cleaned once on our last day. The walk ways are cleaned every morning and evening. The baby pool I had to clean out myself pulling out clumps of hair and grit. Wrappers cant be helped due the wind. The food is what is expected for a 3 star, it is missing a kids zone. My youngest had struggled to find someone to eat at lunch and evening meals. Breakfast was great. The entertainment..you can see the guys put alot of time into the place but the kids music doesnt start until 9.15pm and it lacks evening entertainment. The staff are very hit and miss we ended up playing a game to see how many smiles we could get out of them, not many at all lol overall the location of the hotel is great for the shops and beach however on a Hill. And we wont be returning due to lack of cleaning pools.

Iv just come from here tbh i mix feeling about it. The rooms are pretty standard and small.Ok, for a family of three, but I don't know how any bigger family would fit in them.The wardrobe space was tiny and there was no draws, just little shelves and everything sent to fall out. People putting on the reviews a variety of food. They wasn't a variety of food. There was enough food, but it was the same things being put out every day same food. breakfast was great there was a lot of choice there, and the man who did the eggs and omelette was lovely and always made my little boy laugh. Room was cleaned every day. I had to complain on the last day.Due to the baby pool please leave them was dirty with leaf's feathers.Etc and one of the holiday maker was try get all out and she even went to the hotel and told reception, and we just got told, maintenance will come into clean it.I was by that pool mos of day and knew no one coming cleaned it, which I think is pretty disgusting.Why isn't it being cleaned out daylight, or at least being fished out through all the daily .Personally honest, I will not be returning to this hotel.It was very average, which is good for a three start, but I have been 3 stars and they have been a lot better i am not a stock up person, but I just think some of the reviews have made out. It is amazing hotel when actually it's just an average standard hotel. Other people was also complaining about the pool being dirty and then the sunbed issues. As well as the was people queuing from half past eight in the morning to get a sun bed, but they're not returning all day and then the hotel started to put how card saying, if you've not returned in an hour, but they will take your towels, which I do think is good but maybe don't open the doors at half past eight.

Resort very close to shops and beach, a lot to do for younger children also. The animation team (Sergio, Gina, Maria) were very welcoming and work very hard. The rooms were very clean and well made, cleaners do an excellent job.
