NH Paris Opéra Faubourg is located on Rue La Fayette in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. Thanks to its excellent location, many tourist attractions such as Opéra Garnier, Galeries Lafayette, Boulevard Haussmann, the Louvre, Place Vendôme and Sacré-Cœur are within a 30-minute walk. Additionally, Rue La Fayette is on the northern edge of the so-called ‘Silicon Sentier’, where many big corporations, including tech giants, have their head offices. The hotel is situated within a six-story Haussmann-style building that dates back to 1880. Within, it contains 103 guest rooms and suites of various sizes, as well as connecting rooms. The décor in these spaces is either inspired by the cult TV show series The Avengers, Pop-Art and the British style of ‘Chapeau Melon’, or by the retro tradition of the 1950s. Many guest rooms also feature a balcony that provides a stunning view of the city. It’s thought that the same views inspired Edvard Munch to paint ‘Rue Lafayette’ in 1891. Elsewhere, guests love the hotel’s outdoor terrace area, its breakfast room and its relaxing lounge bar.

The bed and pillows were the standout features of this experience. The breakfast was incredible, and the staff was incredibly attentive. Overall, it was a great value for the price. The location was also very convenient, near metro stations.
The hotel is in great location, reachable on foot from many sights, and just steps from some metro line. The breakfast spread is really good. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back.
We’ve just stayed at the NH Opera Faubourg for 3 nights during the Paris heat wave. We were celebrating several birthdays with friends so we wanted something a little special but still on a reasonable budget. We booked a junior suite, which was on the 6th floor & was larger than the basic rooms. We were so pleased with everything there but especially the air conditioning system! The room had everything we needed; a fridge; safe; plenty of storage; lovely toiletries & additional items like a shaving kit etc & neat little brush/ comb combo. We had an additional seating area due to being a suite. The bed was so comfortable; the shower was lovely & have I mentioned the air con… so needed during our stay. Breakfast was plentiful with great options & the staff were incredibly helpful across all areas of the hotel. The area is great for Notre Dame, Montmartre & has good Metro links nearby. There are lots of café restaurants around which are very nice. My only slight negative would be that you can hear & feel the rumbling of the nearby metro, but not to an extent that it stops sleep… & I’m a light sleeper! The trains stop overnight so wasn’t a problem for us at all. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay & very much hope to return here again when in Paris ☺️
