A Home Away From Home Since 2018 We can 100% recommend this hotel and have been happily returning there ever since 2018. The staff is fantastic. In particular, the team at “The Sails” in the neighboring Melia Laguna Resort—Osias, Elida, Kevin, and Luis. Likewise, the team at La Serena—Zuleka, Antonio, Rony, and everyone else. The service is so attentive and very friendly. We went there every evening to enjoy the delicious food, the sensational cocktails, and the hospitality. Together, we created a cocktail that we hope will make it onto the menu. Be sure to ask Osias for a “Fortuna,” as we’ve named it. Breakfast is just as special. After just two days, André and Lindinalva know your preferences and automatically bring your favorite drinks and breakfast items. So kind and thoughtful. Just so warm and welcoming. At Level, Elisete, Elisa, and Sidney are especially attentive and fulfill every request. The Level Bar has a top-notch team with Daniel, Shirley, Yarun and Nicole. Carlos from the towel station is also very attentive and friendly. I’ve probably left out so many names. But to be honest, it’s you all who keep bringing us back to Sal time and time again. Thanks also to Kimber and Luis for the warm welcome. The Teppanyaki show is also fantastic. Delicious food and a fantastic show. Nelson, Mali, Helio, and Ricardo always take such good care of us and give us a warm welcome. The team is simply amazing, and you all always do your best to make our vacation perfect. You make everything possible. Thanks also to Marcello, the manager, for your personal attention. You’re doing a great job! It is the people who make this resort so special. We were a little unsure about travelling to Cape Verde having read the news but wow 🤩. The hotel was lovely, the food was nice and all of the staff were great. No sunbed wars which was such a refreshing change. We had a fantastic time and would definately recommend
