Los Tulipanes

My husband and I have had a really lovely time here. We had 5 nights here and were really pleasantly surprised because it has been nice in every way. We had an apartment with one bedroom on the second floor. Everything was clean, equipped with the basics. Everything worked. Hairdryer, flat screen smart TV with Netflix etc, nice comfy sofa, mini kitchen with kettle, toaster, hob, fridge, crockery and glasses, mugs, tea sachets and fresh towels. We had a gorgeous terrace with table and chairs and a view that was very pretty. We loved sitting out. There is a main pool, a smaller rectangular one and a small kids pool. The kids playing there were having a brilliant time. Lovely palm trees around, bird song, breeze. Pool bar serves cold beers, drinks, smoothies, breakfasts , snacks (pizza, omelette, toasties, baguettes, hamburgers) and it also sticks the big 5 gallon water bottles to save you lugging it back from shops. The reception staff and bar man are all very helpful and friendly. I used the self service washing machine as well, which saved me buying more luggage on my flight. Location is a bit up hill but also an easy walk downhill to the main Avenida strip, where you will find everything you need. We got some taxis sometimes, too, and never paid more than €5. Reception called a taxi for us once as well. People in other reviews maybe didn't have this experience but we were very happy with everything.

Our first stay here, we stayed 21 nights we would definitely stay again. Checking was quick and very friendly. Was not expecting much because of some of the reviews but great value for money rooms spacious had everything we needed. Cleaning we had our room cleaned almost everyday beds made daily , sheets changed every 3 days with towels. We had to report no hot water a couple of times but maintenance was straight on it and hot water was back. Our son booked a week in the middle of our holiday I asked reception if they could put him close to us. They kept the apartment next to us free till he arrived. We were well impressed as where we would normally stay would not be so accommodating. My only negatives is the patio furniture needs cleaning and the sun bed uncomfortable and need to be cleaned. Also lots of groups of males that can be quite loud. Apart from that absolutely brilliant accommodation and staff very friendly. 100%will stay again!!

My husband & I wanted a cheap week away before our main holiday & booked these apartments through easyJet holidays. We found the check-in was very friendly & straightforward, it’s a relatively small complex so it’s easy to find your room. We were on the first floor which was fine for us, the apartment was quite small, but it had everything you could need except it didn’t have a microwave which didn’t prove to be an issue for us as we ate dinners out - these apartments are only a short walk to the strip which is packed full of bars and restaurants. We didn’t eat at the pool bar but they seem to do the usual pool snacks & have a very small shop with ice lollies, bottles of water basic sun creams etc, I thought the prices were a lot higher than the shops but for convenience it’s pretty handy to have that facility. I thought the outside pool area could have done with a make over, it’s very tired looking in places and could do with replacing all the sunbeds, the pools were cold, not heated - it has 2 small pools & 1 tiny pool for the kids. We were just looking for a relaxing week away & we got that here, as it’s a bit further out from the strip there was no issue with outside noise & we found the beds were comfy enough, no sleepless nights! I would rate this place 3.5/5, would I come back again…??😬 if the price was right. Would I make this my main holiday…absolutely not, but for a cheap & cheerful week in the sun it does the job!
