Area looked like a college dorm room, with bathrooms worse than those on cruises. Sinks was cheap, leaked throughout our stay. Minimal amenities. AC unit did not work, blew hot air, felt like a sauna in our room. Only way to cool down the place was to open all windows, which let in all the noise. Difficult to sleep for me and my kids. None of our complaints were addressed with their customer service, no acknowledgement of issues. Would not return.
Fantastic space with helpful staff.

Lovely clean spacious apartment that is very convenient to everything you possibly need. This is my second time staying in a libere hotel in Madrid while visiting my son who lives here. These apartments provide a nice space to spread out and be able to have guest over and not feel like you are cramped in a hotel room. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It feels like they truly what you to have a pleasant stay. Note worthy conveniences: Lockers in the lobby to hold your belongings. This is so helpful when you have red eye flights. Someone is always available on chat if you have a question or problem. They are very efficient at responding quickly. Early check in / late check out. For a small fee you can check in at noon. Kitchen is well equipped for small meals . My only complaint was no cork screw! Make sure you buy a twist top. This location does not have a washer which is a bummer, but other locations do. I highly recommend staying here if you are traveling with others and need to spread out a bit.

The place is perfectly located just a few steps from Gran Vía and very close to Puerta del Sol. It is laid out in two areas: downstairs there’s a small kitchen, a bathroom, and the living room with a sofa bed, and upstairs there’s a loft of very good size with the main bed. It has two fairly spacious closets. The stairs to the loft can be very difficult for an elderly person or if you’re not in good shape. We were welcomed with two small bottles of water, some snacks, and a pair of earplugs. The place is self-service—there’s no reception, everything is automated. The key is digital and sent to you by email along with your room number. If you don’t have internet access during your trip, this could be a big problem. For example, when we arrived, we saw three older women who had been waiting outside for a while, hoping someone would come in, as they didn’t have a code. If it hadn’t been for us, who knows how long they would have stayed out there. Once inside, there was an employee who was able to assist them. That was also just luck, since we didn’t see that employee again—like I said, everything is digital. The downside: at night, the garbage truck comes by and it sounds like it’s right inside your room. We only stayed one night, and I’m not sure I would stay again, because even though the place is very nice, I wouldn’t have been able to stand the noise of the garbage truck every night.
Below average. Would not recommend.

Stayed here for a whole month, for business, and would NOT recommend. There are some positive aspects to this hotel, sure. The staff is friendly and very helpful, the location is great, the kitchenette is well replenished with the main tools one needs to cook, and the bed is comfortable. There was no shortage of hot water/electicity nor any problem like that. However I consider this apartment hotel to be *below average*, and here are the main reasons for this review: 1 - It has no reception. You rely on your mobile device to be able to enter your room for the first time. After that it is okay, I guess, since you can enter your room with a PIN. However the user experience is very low quality overall. 2 - Room service only once per week. Plus, if you want your room to be “extra clean” there is literally a paid extra. What do you mean by that? If I don’t choose that extra my room won’t be perfectly clean? 3 - Noisy. Apartment windows almost don’t block the sounds from the street. And the street is VERY noisy. I slept almost every night with earplugs, and the nights I didn’t, I woke up many times due to sounds from the outside. If you want to sleep past 7:30 A.M. good luck, the bell of a church nearby does the favor of waking you up. Really hate that bell. 4 - The windows, again. Apartment windows don’t entirely block sunlight, so if you need to sleep until late in the morning, this is not the place for you. 5 - Breakfast It isn’t worth it. Really, the staff is very kind, but the variety is very low. Way below the average of most 3 star hotels I have stayed in. Not worth the cost. To complement my user experience perspective: I was called one morning in the MIDDLE of my stay, warning me that the check-out time was until 11 a.m., and I was already late. What? If they aren’t able to do reservations of more than 15 days, at least take extra care to know if their guests are staying for 2 consecutive reservations. That day, when I arrived at the hotel, I was standing in front of my room for 20 minutes, because my PIN no longer worked. I had to message the hotel staff via WhatsApp to have my problem fixed. They were very helpful, but I can only imagine what would happen if my phone’s battery was dead. Throughout my stay I helped many other guests opening the front door, since like me they were a bit confused on how to enter the building, with all the suitcases and backpacks on them. I believe the hotel communication should be clearer about how their system works. If many people experience the same problem, perhaps the problem is not the people, but how the system is designed. Anyway, I hope that these problems are addressed and when they are solved, next guests counter this review.
