Las Faluas

Location perfect . 5 minutes walk to the beach where the elevator brings you down to the beach . Supermarket literally across the road from the complex . 3 to 5 minutes walk to decent restaurants.3 to 5 minutes walk to the weekly market . The pool were clean as were the ground of the complex. . The apartment itself was small ( ISH ) but perfectly adequate. Very comfortable beds with great quality mattresses . Hairdryer in the bathroom . Large TV . . ALL staff we met were very friendly . A bottle of drinking water with a few tea bags / coffee and sugar sachets on the counter ( appreciated as we arrived near midnight) all supermarkets closed . Id struggle to fault this complex

Awful stay - extremely run down. Multiple bugs and cockroaches in the rooms, hardly any sockets, microwave doesn’t work, no AC, shower stays warm for about 2 mins before turning freezing cold, bathroom in the rooms were dirty. Pool was ok but there are very strict rules - no floaties of any kind were allowed, no bottled drinks near the pool, also a gentleman who monitors the pool all day was very protective over using the sun beds without a towel (we bought down a small towel from the room and apparently no small towels were allowed but when I asked for an extra bath towel I was told this is not possible so you are expected to use the same towel on the sun loungers and for bathing and these only get changed x3 times per week…). Even when new towels were put in the rooms, they were stained. WiFi in rooms is at an extra cost.

I've stayed in this area many years and these apartments are the worst I've experienced. My apartment had electric sockets hanging off the wall and paint peeling owing to damp. The beds were hard as a rock! There was no air conditioning and the apartment was dark with no sun on the balcony whatever time of day. It was full of Dutch pensioners who sat round the pool all day long. The cleaners were friendly and did a good job. The towels were awful though....a grey white. WiFi and safe were extras. Unfortunately everywhere I've stayed previously was much better.
