Hôtel du Bois

We stayed at Hotel Du Bois Easter weekend in April 2026. We booked through TUI with Eadyjet flights. I picked this hotel as reviews were good and the location. The hotel is classed as a 3 star. Well myself and my family/frieds (6 of us) totally disagree with the rating. we would rate the hotel more 4+. It is a beautiful hotel that provides an excellent continental breakfast. The rooms are clean, spacious and functional. I have read comments about the showers and we did have a smaller shower than friends/family but it was a good shower just a bit of a tight squeeze. The room was cleaned daily and it was in a lovely and quiet area so no disturbed sleep. Our room was at the front of the hotel and we did have the please of meeting the residential homeless gentleman who was no bother. The hotel is approx 5 minute walk to Arc du Triumph and 20 minutes to the Eiffel tower. The hotel is also central to shops, bars and Restuarants all within walking distance. We took advantage of open top buses to see the sights and again bus stop 5 minutes from the hotel. The staff at this hotel and so lovely and nothing too much trouble. We sat many times in the luxurious foyer when we returned from a busy day touring the city. There was always fresh lemon water to drink and quite often fresh pastries. We were always made to feel very welcome. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and knowledgable about tour attractions and transport around the city. We all had a very pleasant surprise with the quality and standard of this hotel and we would definitely book this hotel again when we visit Paris without any hesitation. We would like to thank all the staff for making our stay so pleasurable. I would say do not be put off by negative comments i have noted on Tripadvisor they most certainly do not reflect on our stay at Hotel Du Bois. I would most definitely recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to Paris it is a hidden gem.

Booked with EasyJet (flights and hotel) for my son to run the marathon. Great location near the Arc de Triomphe although the area below the hotel entrance was home for a homeless person and the area stank of urine. We were in room 100. We had both the noise from the street as well as the noise from the hotel. People could clearly be heard walking up and down the stairs and talking so not much soundproofing. Booked a Twin Superior Room and had a double and a single for some reason - all very tightly squeezed in. The bathroom (shower room) was tiny. Could only sit sideways on the loo. The staff were ok, not overly friendly. I would not recommend room 100 and I won't be booking this hotel again.

Best location 2 min walking from Arc de Triomphe Best staff at your service ready to help! you feel at home! Big clean and warm room I booked the prestige one! Very good and rich selection for breakfast .
