For dining and drinks, guests may enjoy the hotel's own café, bar and restaurant. Room and laundry services are on offer as well, and the hotel provides conference facilities. Each room is tastefully furnished with warm colours and comes fully equipped with a minibar, satellite TV, direct dial telephone and a private bathroom. This hotel feels like a remnant from the communist era. Service is non existent, rooms are shabby and neither the AC or WiFi worked. Staff could not have cared less. The location on a busy, dusty street, at least 20 min. from the centre doesn’t help.
It felt like we were in a time warp, trapped in the communist era. The staff at reception was not helpful dealing with issues in our room. Decor and cleanliness were way below standard. Noisy traffic and inconvenient location from downtown. This place is in desperate need of renovation
Doro City hotel is an old fashioned hotel with few amenities. We were a group staying at the hotel. We spent little time actually in the hotel so it was ok. One tiny elevator serving all the guests. I would have preferred a hotel with a kettle and waste basket in the room. Also shower gel in the bathroom.
