Use your money for better hotel

I stay 2 weeks in this hotel and I would not come back again.
The breakfast didn't have much variety and many things were missing. For example, only one choice of cold cuts and cheese. Only one morning there were sausages. Other mornings there were stews containing chickpeas, beans, cabbage or vegetables. Only few mornings there were fresh vegetables. The croissants, breads and pastries were dry almost every morning. The food often ran out and you had to ask for more so that the staff could bring more. It usually took many minutes for new ones to arrive. The staff in the kitchen did not have a very service-oriented attitude.

The hotel room didn't have a proper blanket, just a thin sheet. The balcony door in the hotel room was broken and I asked for it to be fixed three times on different days, and it was not fixed during the entire stay. There was no water coming out of the shower or tap for several days. So if you want to shower, it is not possible all the time. WiFi only works in public areas of the hotel, not in the hotel rooms. The TV was also not working.

The pool was smaller than in the pictures.

Listen up people!

So having read the reviews before we came (which were mixed) and now we are just over half way through our holiday. For the Negative Nancys you get what you pay for! This hotel is appropriately priced for the facilities and services; I can’t agree with breakfast not being replenished, our experience is that it is. I think regarding the eggs situation, we were unaware we could ask for eggs (which is obviously a shame), but if you have to ask then just ask! This is not a 4/5star hotel and neither have we seen it advertised as such; our expectations were medium-low and we are pleasantly surprised. There is enough variety for breakfast (in both our opinions) you get what you pay for, I can’t write that enough (for the moaners). The lift is out of order but I’m personally pleased to walk the 50 steps to our top floor. Certainly this is not a hotel for the disabled and frankly anybody who chooses this with a mobility issue hasn’t done their homework! Our room is spacious and clean; there’s always sand about but it is a WINDY ISLAND, there’s always going to be sand on a coastline base. The evening supper food is totally fine/actually good and appropriately priced in comparison to other local venues. The water; yes the pressure changes, yes it goes to (mildly certainly not like in the UK) cold; none of this is a problem to us; do your homework and then pay for what your expectations are……this is sound and relevant advice from somebody who holidays a lot and has travelled well in my few decades. We are not disappointed 🫶🏼

Disappointing throghout

An extremely disappointing stay. From.arrival the receptionist tried to.overcharge us the city tax and pocket extra money. There was no hot water in the shower, and the Wi-Fi did not work in the rooms, which was a major inconvenience. The linen and towels were visibly stained, which is unacceptable for any hotel. Our booking included a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, which was never provided. I raised this issue four separate times with reception, and each time was told they were “speaking to the reception manager, Elso Lopes.” Despite this, there was no follow-up, no communication, and no resolution. Breakfast was also very poorly managed. We arrived at 7:00am and asked for eggs, only to be met with a rude response stating we would need to wait. We were happy to do so, however by 8:00am there were still no eggs, at which point we left without eating. Overall, the service was hostile and unwelcoming. Staff did not smile, appeared disengaged, and gave the impression they did not want to be there. Basic hospitality and customer service standards were not met. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel
