Late minute find

Just back from a week break in Paguera. This was a very last minute trip and we were very lucky to find such a great hostal The proprietors were so kind and welcoming. Spotlessly clean throughout, comfy beds and pillows. Charming chambermaid Breakfast was simple but plenty of choice and freshly cooked eggs, bacon and sausage along with normal cold meats, cheese and fruit Very hot whilst we were there and Paguera is a lively loud resort until about midnight but there is air con although we just left the balcony door open so early nights were not possible 2 minutes from the beach and as many bars and restaurants as you could ever desire

very clean and not noisy , all the rooms are renovated, in the city center, close to the beach ( although we were exlporing the island) air condition is 5 Euro per day , breakfast ok , not lots of choises wi fi ok, no parking if you don t pretend a lot is a good compromise fo a 3 stars hotel

Never ever book this hotel!

My elderly parents had the most unacceptable situation happened at this hotel and I felt compiled to write a review on their behalf as nobody should ever book tis hotel because of the rudest staff possible. These people should not even own a hotel. The night after my wedding, my parents booked this hotel for one night through booking.com. Upon arriving at the hotel, the receptionist told them they have no room for them. He refused to speak any other language than Spanish and was really aggressive with them. Both my parents are over 65, with all their luggage, their booking.com printed reservation but this man through the paper to their face and refused to give them a room, shouting at them! He managed to say in English "no care about booking" They then had to find another hotel, on their own with all their suitcases... My parents now called booking to get their money back because this hotel had the audacity to say they did not show up!! and booking told them they spoke to the owners now and they completely lost themselves in lies and my parents will of course get their money back. They probably were not interested in having guest for one night only! So never book this hotel, they are rude and don't deserve any customers at all.

Simple Hotel Very Close to the Town and Beach

We chose the Sutimar Residencia because its price for the month of May was very reasonable and because of its location to the beach. The hotel is a simple, no frills hotel with all the basics you need but nothing more. The room is small but that is common for many Majorca hotels. In the room you will find a hair dryer and even a refrigerator that is free to use. But if you wish to use the TV, air conditioning or the safe, you have to pay a fee for these. The current price for the TV for a week is 12.60 Euros, the cost of using the air conditioner during the summer costs 36 Euros per week and the safe costs 11 Euros for a week plus a deposit fee for the key (you will get that deposit fee back). The family running the hotel is very friendly and polite. We could speak to them in German and I think they may be able to speak some English as well. We enjoyed and looked forward to the morning breakfast buffet in the dining room and the food and drink selection was fine for us.The room was adequate in size and never seemed overcrowded while we were there. There is also an option to take the breakfast out to the patio, too. The beds are not the most comfortable (they are quite hard) but we got used to them. The only thing I can really say something against the hotel is the room-keeping. The room was immaculate when we arrived and that was great. But during our stay, the bathroom did not get wiped down regularly. It was really obvious after a few days because a lot of dust and hair was visible on the fixtures. There is only one towel rack in the bathroom to hold all the towels not not too many possibilities to place your toiletries. But otherwise, the beds did get made, towels got changed when necessary and trash was removed daily. And upfront, no room cleaning / bed changing gets done on Thursdays. The hotel has no pool but does have a small play area for kids outside on the patio. All in all, if you are not expecting anything fancy and just want to have an adequate place to stay while on holiday, this hotel suits those needs.
