Return trip

Stayed here for Easter after coming 3 years ago and enjoying our time. Staff are friendly and the hotel is very clean. We used to go down to the pool after breakfast shortly after the gates were open and we found there was plenty of choice for sun beds. There were still sunbeds available in the afternoon. There are various different pools to choose from. There is a kids splash pool, main outdoor pool, adults only pool and an indoor pool where you need to wear a swimming cap to use. These can be purchased from the spa entrance for a few euros each. You have to pay a deposit for the towels which was ten euros which you get back and if you want a clean towel then it is one euro to change this. There are plenty of things for the kids with a kids club, mini disco and games arcade. There was plenty of choice of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner and always something for children. The labelling of allergies has got better but is lacking with some of the cakes not showing a label at all. We went all inclusive and found it was great value for money with all the food and drinks available including the pool bar that has snacks, drinks and ice cream. There is a variety of games and activities during the day which were fun. There is a harbour close by but it is quite a walk (45mins) with plenty of shops and restaurants along the way. There is a bus that runs along this road which is quite cheap to use. There is also a casino that is within the hotel that is used by guests and to the public. This is not noisy and you wouldn’t know it was there. We had a great stay and would consider staying here again.

Great hotel could be fantastic with a few tweaks

Rooms. Very good Conformable, spacious, clean and well serviced Food Very good. Good choice and usually piping hot Pools Great family pools. Usual problem with beds. If you go to the pool after breakfast, most beds are taken. We were a group of 7 adults and 6 kids and it was impossible to get more than a couple of beds together If you reserve some beds and go to breakfast the pool guys take towels off the beds after 15 mins. It's difficult to get right i know, but the situation is made worse by the numerous amounts of cabana double beds around all the pools. If anyone sat on them the very keen pool guys would be on you asking for €20 euros! The whole bed problem would be alleviated if these beds were free or replaced with more sunbeds. Entertainment. Pretty Good. Plenty of day time activities to get involved with. David was good fun. Night time was kids mini disco at 8 30 followed by various music shows at 10pm Sone were good but got a bit bored with the flamenco night which was a bit repetitive for us. Also I would questions the location. The outdoor adult pool location was fine and most nights were there, but the indoor Atlantic Lounge was a bit claustrophobic in a formal theatre type style. We were surprised that the layout wasn't chairs around tables in a more cabaret club formation. Maybe the Spanish and French guests prefer this. I would say there is a 30/30/30 mix of Spanish, French and English guests. More Spanish in the daytime who come in on day passes! The Saphir lounge was very nice. Great guitarist/ vocalist early evening from 7.30pm which was nice, but most were going to dinner then She would have been good later on as an alternative to the main entertainment. We were All inclusive plus. Drinks were pretty good. Nice beer, drinkable wine and good local spirits with some branded international drinks Make sure you ask for them by brand or you get the local spirit. My constant gripe with most All inclusive hotels is the fact that there is always something not inclusive that needs extra payments ie Bourbon, Champagne, freshly squeezed orange, Cabanas This is not ALL inclusive Take them away! All in all, we had a great holiday but a few tweaks and this would be a fantastic hotel

Great trip few tweaks would make this a top hotel

Review of Estival Torrequebrada Stay: 4th–9th August 2026 | 6 adults Pros 1. Food and location: The food was good overall, and the location was lovely — quiet, clean and felt very safe. The bus to the port was only around 10 minutes away and was a great bonus. We also appreciated having a complimentary bottle of water provided in the room. 2. Length of stay: Although we only stayed for five nights, I think any longer would have been too long for us. 3. Views: The views from both the balcony and restaurant were amazing and were definitely one of the highlights of our stay. 4. Pre-dinner entertainment: Having a singer performing from around 6pm was a nice touch and worked well for enjoying a pre-dinner drink. 5. Sun loungers: Sun loungers were easily available during our stay. The hotel also has a policy of removing towels from unattended loungers, although we didn’t personally see or experience this happening. 6. Pool towels: Pool towels were €10 to hire, which we thought was reasonable, and the money was returned when the towels were handed back. 7. Late departure facilities: The spa/shower facilities were very useful as we had a late flight and checked out at 10:30am. Being able to shower and freshen up before our flight was a real bonus. 8. Gym: The gym was good and had a reasonable range of equipment. The only slight inconvenience was having to collect a key from reception to gain access. 9. Peace and quiet: The hotel and surrounding area were lovely and quiet, with not a huge amount in the immediate vicinity. This suited us, as we were looking for a relaxing break. Cons 1. Adults-only pool bar: The adults-only pool bar doesn’t open until 11:30am. We feel it would be much better if it opened around 10am, particularly to provide access to coffee, water and other drinks earlier in the morning. 2. Pool chlorine: The pools appeared to have very little chlorine. However, despite this, we noticed that any white clothing worn in the pool came out yellow afterwards. We also noticed that guests with blonde hair appeared to develop a greener/yellow tint after spending time in the pool. 3. Entertainment: The evening entertainment was quite poor during our stay and could definitely be improved. There was very little that encouraged guests to stay and enjoy the entertainment in the evenings. 4. All-inclusive drinks: The drinks included in the all-inclusive package were disappointing, with a limited choice and generally poor quality. In particular, the beer was very poor and other drinks hgh in sugar and syrup content. 5. Breakfast juices: Fresh fruit juice would be a welcome addition, particularly at breakfast. The juices provided tasted very syrup-based or heavily watered down. 6. Final day and all-inclusive access: Our biggest issue was on our final day. We weren’t due to be collected until 8pm, but once you hand in your room card, you can no longer use the main restaurant. You can use the pool snack bar, but this mainly caters for children and isn’t really suitable as a replacement for the main restaurant. On this occasion, reception did kindly allow us to use the restaurant, which we appreciated. However, we feel this should be the standard policy rather than an exception. For a family/group of six adults, this was particularly disappointing. Having paid for an all-inclusive stay, we felt we should have been able to access a proper meal on our final day while waiting for our late transfer. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and there were several positives, particularly the food, location, cleanliness, views and peaceful atmosphere. The hotel has a lot going for it, but there are also some areas where improvements could make a significant difference to the guest experience. The biggest areas for improvement, in our opinion, would be the entertainment, drinks selection and quality, pool facilities, breakfast juices and the arrangements for guests with late transfers on their final day. Despite these points, we had an enjoyable five-night stay and would recommend the hotel for those looking for a quiet and relaxing break, particularly if you value a peaceful location and good food.
