Delphin El Habib

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Delphine Habib! The restaurant was excellent with delicious food and great variety. The animation team was full of energy and made every day fun. The welcome and service were very warm and professional from the moment we arrived. The property is clean, well-maintained, and has a beautiful sea view. Location is perfect — right by the beach and close to the center of Monastir. Highly recommend for families and couples!

overall this wasn't the worst but it certainly needs improvements we stayed here july 2026 ill try and break things down in this review as something were good and some things were bad Staff- we couldn't fault the staff they were brilliant and easily the best thing about the hotel, they were pleasant to be around. very very hard working and always had a smile on their face. from bar staff, maid to reception they were all brilliant despite it being 48c. the lifeguards at the pool/beach were on the ball, they made sure people showered off before going into the pool, they helped you get sunbeds. honestly 10/10 for the staff. Arrival- no problem here we arrived before check in time and they got us booked in and took our bags and sent us off to get food and drink until the room was ready 10/10 no issues here. Room- basic but the beds were comfortable enough. some of the fixing were either broken or hanging off the walls and the shower was broken. they did however fix the shower quickly but due to the design of the shower area it cause the rest of the bathroom to flood. now due to the evening entertainment that goes on until midnight and is hosted outside the noise is horrendous. going bed before midnight isn't an option we had considered moving rooms but we had a friend that had to move twice because their air con wasn't working and they finally got a room with sub par air con, our rooms air con was alright so we didn't want to risk losing that. so it seemed a toss up between bad music until midnight or no air con. im sure there was a middle ground but we never found it 2/10 Food- now i wasn't overly keen on breakfast (that's on me as i don't like eggs) but there was always something i could find to eat. lunch and dinner were both in my opinion good enough. but i would not that i like spicy food and a lot of the food is spicy. they have a good selection of sea food as well king prawns, fresh fish, muscles. (not every day but most) as well as lamb or beef most days. if you have any special requirements you would struggle. especially if you are vegetarian even the plain rice had random bit of meats in it. you can however ask for a plate of rice without any meat in it and they will sort that for you. 7/10 Drinks- here's where problems really start, the drinks are not on tap they are bottle soft drinks and not kept in the fridge so its all warm. they do have ice but the ice melts almost immediately (again it was 48c most days and the drinks were served at room temperature). the only thing that you can get cold is the beer. the water is a sometimes refrigerated and they give that to you in 1.5lt bottles so that was a bonus. 2/10 Pool- the indoor pool was out of action when we were there. the 2 outside pool were kept clean the problem was that the shallow end for the main pool was missing lots of tiles leaving sharp edges, myself and a few other that i knew of while there cut their feet open on the bottom of the pool. 1 of the slides wasn't working on the second pool. getting sunbeds you have to get up early if you want them this is an issue with most all inclusive though. one of the other issues was the smell. there is 1 good shaded area by the pool where the trees are the problem was by mid day this area stunk horrible im not sure if the smell was coming from the drains or the indoor pool that was near by and slowly turning green either way it got worse as the holiday went on. 1/10 animation team- i saw reviews on here saying they were pushy but the team we had were fine they made an effort to talk to you and worked tirelessly 10/10 the hotel in general- the hotel is clean. the only place that there is air con is in the bedrooms there's non in the downstairs bar non in the restaurant so there's no escaping the heat unless you want to sit in your room again the staff were working in this without complaint so hats off to the staff. 4/10 the beach area- there is a roped off area for the hotel users on the beach, be careful crossing the road but you can usually get sunbeds on the beach and the waters lovely the staff at the beach will help you move sun beds and they do keep and eye on things in general 10/10 overall i wouldn't come back to this hotel i think i would pay more next time and go somewhere a little better. that being said and i know i have put quite a few negatives here i would say i got value for money. this hotel is cheap and you get what you pay for. Top tips- when out and about haggle hard don't be afraid to walk away if you went too low they will let you go so you have a base line for the next shop. there are some great restaurants around as well and usually very cheap give them a try. if you drink beer take a pint glass/wine glasses with you the glasses in the bar are small but they will fill your own glasses for you. if you forget some local shops sell them for about 2TD. Tip your bar staff, maids and restaurant staff. again these guys work non stop and deserve a tip (plus they might just find you a better glass) take a rubber ring with you for the slides. you can use inflatables on the slides and the rings make them way more fun. if you want to try water sports walk down to the harbor you will see a team running water sports there they will look after you we did the jet skiing supposed to be out for 30 mins they had us out closer to 50 mins. the massages at the hotel are according to my wife and daughter very good.

Amazing atmosphere, beautiful hotel, delicious food and such a friendly team the entertainment staff made every day full of fun laughter and positive energy thank you for making this holiday so special and unforgettable 🤍
