Lovely hotel for 2 star.
Overall, a very nice holiday. Rooms- very clean and great air con in the superior rooms. There were some days the rooms weren’t cleaned but generally out of our 11 night holiday they were cleaned at least 9 times. Pool- very big, saltwater, nice to sit at the pool bar although no service at this area. Entertainment- repetitive. Great in the days. Water polo, killer pool, tennis, table tennis, boules, aqua aerobics. In the nights there was mini disco at 9pm, then bingo and karaoke. The children in the hotel seemed quite bored and this resulted in them running no around screaming and playing among the bar area and where people were drinking/smoking. It would’ve been great if they were kept entertained for longer to occupy them. Drinks- the hotel gives a token per person for reusable cups. One of the only really negatives is that these cups are so small. Whilst the idea is great for the environment and aimed at reducing queues especially at busy times, the size of the cups often make the queue much longer than it needs to be. A few sips and your drink is gone so you’re queing again. They operate on a ‘2 drinks per person’ rule which was fine for us but I felt for families that were having to leave their children unsupervised at many points of the day to ensure that everyone in their family had a drink. Food- lovely salad bar at all times, chips always, always fresh baguettes. Sometimes the food looked questionable but for a 2 star hotel I was expecting a lot worse and was prepared to eat out a lot. Breakfast was 10/10 with proper sausages. Staff- could do with more staff at bars to keep queue down and more cooks in kitchen to ensure they keep on top of food levels.
