Ciutat Vella Hotel

The location was good and the room clean. Unfortunately the room was dark and damp. The bed was small and uncomfortable. The shower was over a bath, the shower head did not stay on the stand, the bathroom was always wet, with no ventilation. No fridge in the room and the breakfast was underwhelming choosing to eat elsewhere on the last day. Tv did not allow for steaming services. Personally I would not stay here again. It was a very underwhelming experience. Rooms are in desperate need of renovation.

I had a very upsetting experience at this hotel recently. A valuable personal item was taken inside the hotel, and the staff initially acknowledged that it had happened. I was told they would “look into it” and update me.After that, I heard nothing. I’m sharing to prevent this from happening to any others. Despite emailing, calling, and following up multiple times, I received no response at all. It felt like they said they would investigate just to end the conversation, with no real intention of helping or resolving the situation. I’ve stayed in many different hotels and apartments while travelling, and I have never experienced anything like this — nor have I ever received such poor service and lack of communication. Most places take guest safety seriously and follow up properly. Sadly, this hotel did not. Please consider this carefully before booking. Security and trust are essential, and this experience has completely put me off staying here again.

The walls are thinner than your skin you can hear next door literally breathing, washing there hands in toilet, toilet flushing talking whispering everything! It’s woken me up everyday I’ve been here terrible hotel
