Catalonia Park Putxet

Stayed for a week. Two adults and children. The room was big enough and the children had bunk beds, which was good. The room was nice but wouldn't say it was quite 4 stars. Maybe 3. Needs redecorating. Staff were friendly and helped with suggestions on where to eat, etc. Had breakfast one morning, quite expensive compared to other places, so it's worth checking somewhere else for that. Had dinner one night, and the food was lovely. Cheesecake was really good. We used the pool area quite a lot. The pool is quite small but good enough for us. The only complaints I have is there is no kettle, you get that in a 'premium room' which is strange because I've travelled a lot and this is the first hotel with out a kettle etc. The family room is also detailed as being soundproof. They aren't. You can hear everything in the rooms next door and doors banging all night, but we slept well apart from that. Beds are really comfortable, and we will be coming back to stay again. A little out of the way from the centre, about 30 mins, 1hr30 walk to the beach, which we did intentionally to avoid the hustle and bustle. 30 min taxi from the airport (around €30). Lovely vibe. Want to thank the man who checked us into room 216 on the 5th May for being so patient while we figured out our banking mishap. He also recommended some places to eat which was really helpful. Very friendly and welcoming. The guy working with him also rushed out to get our bags from the taxi which was lovely. The rooms were really nice. We were really pleasantly surprised for the price we had paid. The gym has a set of dumbbells up to 10kg, a double cable system, a bench, rowing machine, elliptical, treadmill and bike. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on that. Shower pressure and heat was great. Beds comfy and clean. Housekeeping came everyday (3 days) and were very friendly when I passed them on the hallways. The pool is a lovely chill out vibe. The majority of the time we went there we were the only ones there. Didn’t notice any noise, we used the hotel as a base and I slept great, didn’t wake due to noise at all. Thank you for a lovely stay. I’m coming back next year and will use the same hotel.

This hotel was Great! From the front desk clerk to the attendant that carried our bags. The rooms were clean and efficient. The bartender was helpful in recommending local beers. The breakfast was awesome and the fresh squeezed orange juice machine was the best! I would highly recommend this hotel for its peace and quiet. It is a Great four star hotel.
