We arrive for 4 nights, with organized trip, (without option to book other hotel). The check-in was quickly, and we received a very clean room with some maintenance issues and anti-allergic sheets that was double (for duvet). The room had little fridge without how to boil water and without coffee and tea bags. After the first night the staff didn’t clean the room (only arrange the bed and towels). We paid in advance also breakfast, it’s good eastern breakfast, but the stuff try to do the minimal that’s needed to give service and also they peeled the and cute the fruits to prevent the guests to take them out from the dining room, we didn’t like to eat nervously with 10 eyes on our plates. The swimming pool is lovely, the hotel near some markets and 5-10 minutes from the beach.

Pleasant hotel. Good location for Petrovac beach.

The rooms were clean. In fact the whole hotel was spotless.  But buffet was ok, but there was a limited selection. They did offer juice and water, tea and coffee with meals, which some hotels charge extra for. Pool was lovely - not huge, but the hotel was surrounded by quite a noisy road... Petrovac hotels have been built quite close together with not much space. The decking area was not really big enough and there were not enough loungers for guests - but this was down to limited space for hotels in the resort. During our stay a couple of the fountain features did not work. In all honesty, it felt like the whole place needed a bit of a spruce. But we had a lovely time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. NB. There is a cafe in the foyer selling coffee for around €3... avoid. The coffee was awful and you only get half a cup. There are better places for coffee. WiFi was sporadic if you were by the pool. Tips: You don't get pool towels, so bring your own. Beach shoes are a good idea for beach and sea. Room has a fridge, safe and hairdryer. Tap water was ok to drink.  Petrovac was very busy and beach was crowded - mostly by rental sunbeds. The promenade was very busy at sunset and it was clearly a family resort with lots of young children. There were some lovely restaurants. Local supermarkets were great. Overall a stunning location. But there were several abandoned hotels that had not been finished...and they made the resort unsightly. I'd read that Montenegro lacked investment for tourism and I would agree that Petrovac is an example of this. But it was authentic and a great stay.

Сентябрь 2023- и снова традиционно- Castellastva!

I have returned to my favourite, homely hotel on the Adriatic coast- Castellastva! I have been staying at this hotel for a long time - since 2014. And every time I see new improvements in the hotel, which make it possible to make your stay pleasant and relaxing. Castellastva has very comfortable, renovated rooms with modern furniture and free Wi-Fi. Comfortable beds, functional equipment, a well-thought-out lighting system. The hotel does not host noisy parties, so nothing will interfere with your evening rest. The restaurant has brought back a convenient system where you can drink coffee, tea, and soft drinks for lunch and dinner. The number of dishes on offer has increased, everything is very fresh and perfectly cooked. You can eat indoors in the restaurant (there are many corners for two, for a small company, and for a tourist group), you can sit on the outdoor terrace of the restaurant overlooking the green olive gardens and pine trees. It is very close to the sea, and there are always enough free places on the beach at the end of September (you can also rent a sunbed and an umbrella). The hotel has attentive, professional staff who speak foreign languages well, so it will not be a problem for a tourist to explain himself to the staff. I would especially like to mention the wonderful staff of the hotel - Miroslav (top manager of the reception), the head waiter of the restaurant- Misho and the employees of the restaurant - Lela and Petar! You are real professionals! Thank you very much! You greet the guests with a smile, make our stay at Castellastva unforgettable and make the regular guests of the hotel come back to you again and again! Puno hvala!
