About the hotel

It is located in the quiet area of Es Canar, just 200 m from the beach, close to many restaurants and bars. Modern and recently renovated with new equipment in the rooms and all areas. It is ideal for families and couples looking for peace and relaxation during their vacation. Children have access to children's pool, mini club and playground, while adults can enjoy other facilities. Opposite the hotel, on the beach, there is a ferry service to the city of Ibiza and the nearby island of Formentera. Once a week, guests can also enjoy the famous hippie market that is only ten minutes' walk from the hotel. It is the perfect choice for a relaxing holiday.

DISGRACEFUL

i have to leave a review because everyone needs to know how APPALLING this hotel is. First of all, the hotel looks nothing like the pictures with it looking old and worn out. There is no aircon in the hotel reception, in the room or anywhere in the hotel. I thought i was going to pass out as the room gets hotter than actual outside. The tap water is absolutely revolting, not clean and made my boyfriend throw up. The reception staff are extremely unwelcoming and very moody. Please to anyone reading this do NOT listen to the good reviews and save your money its absolutely tragic

Hotel might as well be a sauna

Do not go here the rooms are like saunas with no air conditioning working at all, got moved to another room but still had the same issue. The staff are very unwelcoming with no smiles or anything. The water tastes vile almost like milk it’s absolutely disgusting. Save your money and go somewhere else trust me

Plus points: Good location, check map. Slight hill up from the front of es Cana, but not particularly steep. Relatively quiet so always got sunbeds at the pool Friendly enough staff, especially at pool area. One bedroom apartments are spacious with a decent sized balcony. Spacious bathroom. Negatives: There is now no kids club, no playground, and no entertainment - I asked about this and was told there is a problem with the entertainment company, so this may change in future. Kids club door permanently locked. The playground has had everything removed and lying derelict, don’t know if they have plans to replace everything. We heard music from the pool bar occasionally, and a singer went on the ‘stage’ once and sporadically performed a couple of songs. One lifeguard who seemed to come and go. No one to replace her when she was away. The rooms look relatively clean, but there were sanitary items from a previous guest under the sofa bed. Fridge was constantly dripping which has led to damage, and freezer was just a block of ice. Air con is very poor. You don’t walk in and feel the cold air. We kept it at 10 degrees, apparently, but more like 19/20. Air con units throughout reception area dripping. Lifts are tiny, the smallest I have been in, and we’re in 3/4 different hotels a year. Breakfast is served from 8-10, dinner from 7:30-9:30. Breakfast was busy, but dinner was never busy. Never a big selection of anything. Breakfast was salads, same selection of fruit daily, 3 cereals, breads and small selection of pastries, hot food and fresh eggs/omelettes made for you. Had to ask for more bowls on two occasions (30 mins to go until it closed, so not as if it was closing time). Dinner was salads, fish, some sort of pasta, some sort of beef, some sort of poultry and bread/rolls. Same selection of fruit every night, same as breakfast but with watermelon added in. Again, not a big selection of any of above. No ice-cream was ever available. I had to ask on 2/3 occasions for the tomato ketchup dispenser to be put out, which I thought would be a consistent staple every dinner time. Had to ask for butter for the crusty rolls but was simply told ‘no’. We have been to Es Cana a few times now, lovely resort for young families and couples, but would never stay here again, considering we paid £1300 for 1 week’s accommodation half board for two adults and one 6 year old, via their own website. *** I imagine I’ll get a reply saying thank you for the issues raised, sorry it didn’t meet my expectations, and you would like to welcome us back ….we have no plans to be in this accommodation unless every issue raised was resolved. ***
