2 adults, 1 child of 8 and 1 child of 8 months. Ill start with positives... The complex itself was clean and aesthetically, it looked 'nice'. The pools and water-park, although probably not as impressive as advertised, were just fine. We only booked Board and Breakfast, and Im thankful we did. Negatives: We arrived at 11pm after a long day travelling, and it was still sweltering. We got checked in given our apartment key. No aircon. Baby was rapidly over heating. So tired, sweaty and pissed off, we went to the reception. My partner was told the engineer was on his way (shouldnt this have been checked before we arrived?). Half an hour later, still no sign of the engineer. I went up and complained. Young girl on the reception lied and said the engineer was still on his way. When the other girl said he'd gone home for the evening. I demanded a new room with air con. We were given a double room for 4 of us, without a cot for the baby. We had to carry our suitcases, bags, pram across the other side of the complex (down stairs as no ramp) to temporary accommodation with air con. Then i had to make a second trip to fold down the cot and carry it to the new room. We were told we had to be out of this temp room by 10am and to leave our bags in the reception. We did not. My partner and daughter looked at the new 'room' we were to be given and politely declined, as we had booked and paid for an apartment. Eventually, at the 4th time of asking, they gave us a suitable apartment with air con. We had to request a kettle and large pan as the utensils provided were cutlery and glasses. The room cleanliness was fine. The decor was dated. The TV barely worked and the wifi is laughable. The room got cleaned fairly quickly, but then it took another 4 days and we had to approach reception again to get this done. On the whole menorca is beautiful and clean and unsaturated by tourism. But this resort is not as advertised and reception staff (or maybe just the one) were quite unhelpful.

If you have kids under 10 and are Spanish then this is the place for you. The entertainment was ok for kids but the team just spoke Spanish all the time & the majority of guests were Spanish, which is fine but fair to mention as English kids were a bit left out. The entertainment after the kids hour was shocking. The line up sounded great, musical night, Michael Jackson night etc, however it was just the entertainment team miming to songs every night with rubbish dance routines and just a change of outfit each night. No quizzes or bingo or the usual holiday games. No outside acts coming in. If you have kids older than 10 I would avoid. There is nothing to do outside the hotel or in the area at all, we went with 15yr olds and they were bored out their brains. The hotel and rooms and pool areas all need upgrading and attention. WiFi in general was good around the hotel. The water park was tired and in need of a makeover. There was a bar at each pool and the cups you have to put a deposit on for your drinks will be the bain of your life. If you go to the waterpark or pool and want something other than water and have forgot your cup, it's either a trip back to your room or another euro per cup. Yes it's refundable but seriously having to have your drinks out of a plastic cup is ridiculous. At night there were always queues for a drink as they only put 1 member of staff on each. The restaurant was boiling hot and too unbearable to eat in. Having said that, the food was good and something for everyone. I cannot fault the food. The communal area had 2 pool tables and a table tennis table but the area itself, again, was unbearably hot and no air con. This was the same for reception area also. There was also lack of information around the place and when checking in were not offered any helpful info either. This is the most disappointing holiday I have been on and definitely would not recommend going with kids who want something to do of an evening or have entertainment to enjoy.

After reading reviews I was very apprehensive but ended up been pleasantly surprised. On arrival we had been upgraded from a double room to one bed apartment which I was hoping to be able to pay for anyway so that was a fab start. We couldn’t access our room until 3 but could use the facilities from check in at 11ish. Our apartment was ground floor just outside the pool behind reception. Lovely area. Air con worked great, was clean and plenty of space. Food was okay, some questionable dishes but that’s to be expected in a different country. My kids did mainly eat pasta n chips. Salad bar was lovely. Deserts average, tasted the same. Breakfast was the best meal for us. I don’t drink so can’t comment on alcohol. Waterpark was great fun, a little worn in places but the kids don’t notice. One big plus I found was that it’s shaded. Food and drinks was all inclusive there for us too. 3 pools, 2 with lifeguards and a smaller quieter one in the middle which was lovely. Never an issue getting a lounger. Visited backgammon a five min walk away which was lovely food and a nice change. Supermarket also next to backgammon. Beach is absolutely beautiful! All in all a great holiday for what I paid.
