B&B HOME Paris Mairie de Saint-Ouen

I stayed at the B&B HOME Hotel Saint-Ouen and was generally satisfied with my experience. There are a lot of great things about this hotel, though there were a few surprises regarding room amenities. ​The Positives: ​Wonderful Staff & Atmosphere: The reception team—both day and night—are incredibly nice and welcoming. The overall atmosphere of the hotel feels very friendly and comfortable. ​The Room: The room was clean, and the bed was acceptable and comfortable. The design is nice and simple, which I really liked. ​Great Location: The hotel is in a very convenient spot, only about 200 meters from the metro station, making it easy to get around. ​Things to Keep in Mind (The Downsides): I was surprised to find a few standard amenities missing from the room: ​There was no complimentary water provided in the room. If you want water, you have to purchase empty bottles to fill them up/get water from the lobby. ​There is no mini-fridge in the room. ​There is no safe/secured box to lock away expensive items when you leave the room. ​Overall, it is a good, clean, and friendly hotel for a simple stay, but you should be prepared for the lack of a fridge, safe, and in-room water. I was satisfied with my stay in general!

I arrived in Paris late at night and reached the hotel at around 1:00 a.m. At check-in, I was given the key to room 226. I was shocked when I entered the room and found a stranger already sleeping there. The young man was just as surprised and frightened by my presence as I was by his. Both of us went to the reception desk to sort out the situation. I was told that there had been some kind of mistake with my reservation. After that, I was assigned a different room on the fourth floor. The new room did not even have a kettle. However, the worst part was the lack of soundproofing. The rooms are connected by an adjoining door to the neighboring room. Do not believe the reviews that praise the sound insulation. Through that door, I could hear every cough, sneeze, and conversation from the next room. Later, someone checked into the neighboring room with a dog. The dog barked for hours, from daytime until late at night, making it impossible to relax or rest. The soundproofing is simply nonexistent. The hotel is located relatively close to the metro, which is convenient. However, it is situated in an area with a large immigrant population, and not every traveler may feel comfortable with the location. Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay and would not choose this hotel again.

Very good stay at B&B HOME Paris Mairie de Saint-Ouen. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well located. The staff was welcoming and helpful during the whole stay. Special thanks to Melissa, who was very professional, smiling, and kind. She made our experience even better with her excellent service. Highly recommended!
