This hotel is located in the university center, near the main access to the city of Oporto. This Oporto hotel has a privileged location and accessibility, close to the metro, and only 3 km from the UNESCO World Heritage city centre of Oporto. The Douro River and the historical city centre, with its businesses, churches, monuments and museums, is a few minutes from the hotel. Guests will find a range of restaurants, bars, shops and clubs just a 5-minute drive from the hotel and S. João bus station is just a 5-minute walk away. Spa Information: Access is not allowed for children under 5 years old, until 16 years old, access is only allowed during specific hours and they must always be accompanied by an adult.

Highly recommend this hotel. First Class from the welcome we received on arrival, the spacious comfortable Guest rooms, and the Hotel Bar and Restaurant. 10 minute walk to the metro. Food was excellent, the quality and choice superb. The weekly cocktail a winner for me. Very reasonably priced food and beverages. We cannot praise the staff enough, nothing was too much trouble, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and special. Thank you to them all.
We only stayed for two nights. On arrival we had a very smooth check in with really excellent service from Francisca on Reception. She showed us places to see and eat on the local map and explained in detail how to get there. The spacious hotel room (6th floor) was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with twin beds, air conditioning, minibar, safe, coffee/tea machine, TV and a small balcony. The bathroom was plenty big enough with a bath/shower, hairdryer, bidet and toilet. Breakfast was very good, the usual buffet style with plenty of choice and replenished regularly. We ate one dinner in the restaurant which was really tasty and good value. Our booking included an hour in the 'spa' on both days. This consists of a small pool, sauna and steam room. Not all the jets and various features were working but it was a very welcom experience at the end of a hot and busy day. The only reason it hasn't got 5 stars is the location. The roads were quiet enough but it is a 20 minute walk to the closest metro which is a bit of a struggle at the end of a long day, especially on hot summer days after a lot of walking round town.
Lovely clean hotel in a quiet location. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax after a day sightseeing. Breakfast offered plenty of choice and was very enjoyable each morning. It would have been even better to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room, especially after a long afternoon out exploring. There is also a lovely little cafe just a few minutes walk from the hotel which is very reasonably priced. The metro station is around a 10 minute walk away, making it easy to get around and see the sights. Overall, a pleasant stay and we would happily return.
