Room: Nice and clean providing all the basic stuff. Location: In the centre of St Julian's where all the clubs are. If you want to visit Sliema or Valletta you'd have to go by bus or by car. Value for money: Very good

The location isn't great, it's opposite two large construction sites and the surrounding streets smell of urine, it's surrounded by shot bars and strip clubs, although there are some nice restaurants about a 10 minute walk away. The rooms we stayed in were well presented. I would absolutely never stay in this hotel again and I would advise that others avoid it too. Our first night was horrible, we had construction noise from outside and two doors down inside the hotel, the maintenance workers were smoking in the hotel and at around 23:30am the fire alarms went off because other guests were smoking in their rooms, I wasn't able to sleep as music from neighbouring bars was going on until the early hours. When I spoke to the manager the following morning, he moved our room, but the same thing happened again for the second night in a row - at around 21:30pm the fire alarms were going off because once again, guests were smoking in their room, and our automatic porch light was flashing every time somebody walked past our room, we got no sleep. The hotel is massively overpriced for what it is, the roof terrace and pools are tiny, there are maybe 10-15 sunbeds up there. We didn't try the breakfast, other guests advised us not to. The hotel is massively short staffed and the staff they do have are clearly overworked. Other guests were predominantly people in their late-teens/early twenties, obviously there for a party holiday. We cut our stay short and checked out, we have requested a full refund and are waiting on this to be actioned by the hotel.

Nice clean, not too noisy, hotel. Breakfast good. All good. Noise in room from lift, so changed rooms, no problem. Regarding the 50€ deposit mentioned in other reviews; I got mine back after 4 weeks. I understand they take this in case the room is trashed.
