Horrific, dirty, rude. Do not stay if you have children.

HORRENDOUS Travelled here with my children, got there at 10.30am told we were not allowed our rooms until 2.30pm there was nowhere to sit in the reception and when you went to sit round the pool music was so loud you could barely think. So ended up having to walk round the main strip with two very tired children one being very young. Reception staff were very rude and unhelpful. Once we finally got to the room the room stunk, the bathroom and drains smelt terrible the bed made up as a family room for the third bed looked worse than a prison bed. The fridge was filthy the sofa had stains all over it. There was no air con, we had to go and pay out of our own money to hire fans so we didn't suffocate painfully from the lack of oxygen in the room. Tried to take my children to the pool where it's advised online there being a children's pool. There is not!! No pool for the children at all just the main the pool and the life guard that's like miss truncbull the minute they even saw a splash of fun was death glaring and sending a formal warning. No floats were allowed, no fun for the kids. There was never any staff in the bar too the pool you were stood waiting for ages to be served. The pool was very dirty and unhygienic. The hotel is located near bins just outside that absolutely stunk and was constant glass everywhere so couldn't walk with my children on that side. Rang jet 2 to ask to change Hotels said it would be 3 days until someone even gave a ring back. So unhelpful and not bothered. These apartments ruined our holiday paid all that money and would of had a better stay going to stay in the local prison. Probably be cleaner too.

Filthy Towers

This is possibly worst hotel ever. Filthy dirty. The staff are so unhelpful. I knew going there was no air con but on the island they can be rented. The hotel doesn’t allow this. You can open the windows but possible need a safety harness to reach out to close them. They give you 1 pillow and 2 wool blankets. It’s like your going for a couple nights in jail. The pillow was actually brown with sweat from previous guests. Blood on door frames not cleaned. The bedroom light has a fan in it that doesn’t work, which I think is an inside joke with the staff. Also light is so bright you need have sunglasses on when hitting the on switch. There is an armchair that’s so dirty I’d swear it looks like the previous guest had spontaneously combusted in it. The pool is a joke and manky. The step into pool It’s so manky it’s actually slippy. The life guard blows his whistle if anyone tries have fun. No inflatables are allowed in pool for kids or any playing. The place is disgusting. The smell is sickening. It’s right beside the bins for all the local bar and restraunts. I lasted 4 of 14 nights booked. I had to go buy stuff to clean it. Cockroaches all around the food area. I can really only describe the brief stay as worst 4 nights of my life. If your thinking of staying in this place please get tetanus shots before arrival.

We stayed here for a long weekend while on holiday and overall had a lovely stay. The location is fantastic, with shops, bars and restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away. We were really happy with the area, and everything you need is right on your doorstep. The hotel itself was nice. The apartments are a little dated, but that wasn’t an issue for us. They were reasonably clean, although they could have been cleaned to a slightly higher standard. During our stay we didn’t have housekeeping, but the staff did ask if we needed fresh towels or extra toilet rolls, which we appreciated. We stayed in Apartment Row B. The only downside was being woken up early each morning because the bottle bins were nearby, which could be quite noisy. That’s obviously something outside of the hotel’s control, but it’s worth mentioning for anyone who enjoys a lie-in! One thing we weren’t too keen on was the number of cats around the apartments. There were usually around five cats wandering onto the terrace, so we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the patio doors open in case they came inside. The rooms also don’t have air conditioning, but there is a ceiling fan, and you can leave a refundable deposit at reception to get the remote control. The pool area was one of the highlights. We visited in early July and it never felt overcrowded. There was no need to rush out early for a sunbed, as there were always plenty available, even when we arrived later in the morning. The pool was clean and well maintained, and the pool bar was reasonably priced. They serve simple breakfasts, light snacks, pizzas and sandwiches, all of which we enjoyed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect place to relax and switch off for a few days. The location is excellent, with everything within walking distance, and it’s also very close to the airport, making transfers quick and easy. If you’re staying here, I’d definitely recommend a few nearby places to eat. Kings Bar was our favourite for breakfast and we ended up going most mornings. BFF Restaurant across the road was also excellent, and the all-you-can-eat buffet at Asia Garden was well worth a visit too. We’d happily stay here again.
