Travel insurance and safety

Travel advice can change, so it's always worth checking official guidance before you go.

The FCDO website covers safety and entry requirements for your destination. For health advice specific to where you're travelling, the NHS and Travel Health Pro have clear, up-to-date information.

We've linked to all three directly in your booking confirmation, too, so you can find what you need quickly.

Yes, you'll need travel insurance that covers everyone travelling, including children and infants. Sometimes unexpected things happen that are beyond anyone's control. Travel insurance protects you if anything doesn't go to plan. Make sure you have it from the date of booking so you're always covered.

Make sure your policy covers:
All the destinations you're visiting
Any activities you're planning, like skiing or watersports
The full duration of your trip

It's worth checking your policy details carefully before you book. If something goes wrong and you're not insured, we won't be able to help with any costs or losses.

If you need to use your travel insurance, contact your insurance provider as soon as possible.
